Tamaka Swasa is atype of Swasa
Roga,affecting the Pranavaha Srotas, which is
significantly distressing and a fatal disorderof the
present-day life. Tamaka Swasa has been describedin
Ayurvedic Samhitas and seems to be identicalto
bronchial Asthma.
1A Case of 64year old male patient
who presented withthe Symptoms of difficulty in
breathing,tightness in chest, Cough withWhitish Color
Sputum and generalized weakness.Tamaka Swasa was
Treated byInternal Ayurvedic Medicineand Marked
Improvement was seen.After 4 weeks of follow up no
Episodes of above Complaintshave been reported
