Abstract : Cosmetics are multipurpose materials that are widely used globally to preserve and enhance the overall appearance of the face and other body parts, such as the mouth, fingers, eyes, hair, and so on. It consists of nail paint, shampoo, hair oil, conditioners, face packs, lotions, moisturizers, and creams and powders. A gorgeous woman or attractive man is undoubtedly characterized by their healthy, glowing, and smooth skin and hair. Skin damage is caused by a variety of chemical poisons, microbes, chemicals, and illnesses found in the atmosphere. Cosmetics by themselves are insufficient to care for the skin and other body parts; active substances must be combined to monitor skin damage and aging. Herbal cosmetics have just come to light as the suitable remedy for the existing issue. Herbal cosmetics are currently the focus of the personal care sector. This comprehensive review explores the dynamic landscape of skin cosmetics, shedding light on the latest trends, key ingredients, and efficacy assessments. In an era where skincare has become a central aspect of personal well- being, understanding the intricacies of cosmetic products is paramount.
