A Study between Body Image, Self-Efficacy and Perceived Stress Among Dancers in India

The study’s main aim was to find the gender differences between male and female dancers in selfefficacy body image and perceived stress. It aims to also indicate significant differences, if any, among the different kinds of gender. Additionally, it studies the impact of self-efficacy, perceived stress and body image issues amongst young adults. The study was conducted, and an online survey was used to collect responses from 60 adults. Body Image Avoidance Questionnaire (BIAQ), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and General Self Efficacy scales were used to gather the data. Normality test was done and it was found that the data for perceived stress and self- efficacy wasn’t normally distributed and that body image data was normally distributed. So accordingly correlation, Mann Whitney’s test and t test were used to analyze the data.
