Abstract : Objectives This chapter deals with the statement of the problem, objectives, operational definitions, assumptions, hypothesis, variables, and conceptual framework of the study.Objectives of the Study Hypothesis:  H1-: There will be significant association between status of birth preparedness and complication readiness among primigravida mothers with their socio- demographic variables. To assess the status of birth preparedness and complication readiness among primigravida mothers. To develop self–instructional module on birth preparedness and complication readiness among primigravida mothers. To find out the association between the status of birth preparedness and complication readiness among primigravida mothers with their selected socio demographic variables. To determine the correlation between birth preparedness and complication readiness among primigravidamothers.
