Data mining is a process used by companies to turn raw data into useful information. By using software to look for patterns in large batches of data, businesses can learn more about their customers and develop more effective marketing strategies as well as increase sales and decrease costs. Classification is a Data Mining technique, to build a concise model that can be used to predict the class of records whose class label is not known. Association rule learning is a rule-based machine learning method for discovering interesting relations between variables in large databases.This paper, we provide the basic concepts about classification, association rule mining, mining algorithms and Survey association rule mining techniques.
