Abstract :
This study develops a conceptual and analytical framework for examining agricultural cooperatives as
institutional infrastructures for agroecological transition in Luebo Territory, Kasai Province, Democratic Republic of the
Congo. It integrates diffusion of innovations, collective-action theory, and contemporary agroecological-transition
approaches to explain how collective organization can convert rules, resources, and relationships into services that enable
adoption. Agroecological progress is operationalized through an Agroecological Adoption Index (AAI) based on twelve
observable practices.
