Abstract :
Macroeconomics, the concept of which is still
dsigned and issued by governments in the form of preemployment cards, the human development index and
number of residents seen from the number of the
workforce with the basic problem in the form of open
unemployment rate. The analyzes of this study were
performed partially or concurrently and included types
of causal-associative investigations by quantitative
approaches. The data used is secondarydata, namely
panel data in the 34 provinces in Indonesia (Aceh, North
Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatra,
Bengkulu, Lampung, Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau
Islands, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Java Central, DI
Yogtyakarta, East Java, Banten, Bali, NTB, NTT, West
Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan,
East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi,
South Sulawesi, East Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West
Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, West Papua, and
Papua) by gender in 2020. The data sources are form
BPS, employment and pre-employmentcards
website.The analysis methode used ismultiple regression
analysis using SPSS version 26 program tools. The
results of data processing form SPSS versions 26 show
that he pre-employment card and population have no
significant positive efffect on the open unemployment
rate in 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2020. On the other
hand, the human development index or HDI of each
province in Indonesia has a positive effect on the
unemployment rate. And taken together, the preemployment card, HDI, and the population proxied by
the number of the workforce have positive and
significant impact on the open unemployment rate in
Indonesia.
