The paper aims to provide information about the Cab Aggregator industry in India and establish a link between the route optimization of cab aggregators with various concepts of Operations Research. It also provides an insight into the current status of the Indian Cab Industry. In addition to this with the help of past studies it aims to analyse past and present processes used to assign routes and offers its own analysis on how companies can optimize assignments effectively.
