Abstract : Background: Tinnitus can be present at measurable hearing loss or even when hearing thresholds are within the audiometric ranges that are expected. Pure-tone audiometry measures hearing sensitivity, while OAE test measures outer hair-cell function of the cochlea. Together, they can help to detect subtle cochlear dysfunction in tinnitus patients.  Aim: This study aims to investigate the relationship between hearing threshold and cochlear dysfunction in tinnitus patients.

Keywords : Tinnitus, Hearing Threshold, Cochlear Dysfunction, Pure-Tone Audiometry, Otoacoustic Emissions, Outer Hair Cells.
