This is an original paper which examines the various barriers which hinders the progress and advancement of women to senior leadership role. The factors identified and explored here is based on literature review of research studies conducted in the domain. The main barriers listed are Organizational, Socio cultural and Individual barriers. The impact of this on women’s career path is explored here.
