Abstract :
Schwannomas are common intracranial
tumors that arise from the schwann cells of peripheral or
cranial nerves. Understanding the anatomical location &
types of presentation of these tumors assists in arriving
at an appropriate clinical diagnosis. In this case series,
we will discuss the various presentations of such tumors
and the radiological anatomy of the concerning cranial
nerve. The association between Schwannomas and
neurofibromas is also briefly discussed.
