Mobile money service popularly called Momo is one of the fastest growing means of doing cashless transactions among the Ghanaian populace. The service is often highly patronized by both employed and unemployed. Whereas the service has been beneficial to some people, others have lost huge sums of money to fraudsters. Our research sought to investigate the extent to which the momo service has been adopted by tertiary students in Ghana and to determine their perceptions of the service in terms of convenience and security.
