Abstract :
Diabetes causes several abnormalities of the host
defense system that might result in a higher risk of
certain infections, including UTI. Furthermore, when
diabetic patients acquire UTIs, it is more likely to be
caused by unusual pathogens and antibiotic-resistant
organisms.
