Abstract : The increasing use of digital technologies among adolescents has heightened their exposure to various online risks, underscoring the importance of cybersecurity awareness and school-based digital safety initiatives. This study examined the relationship between cybersecurity awareness and online risk exposure among senior high school students in Laguna, Philippines, as a basis for developing a School-Based Digital Safety Protection Program. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed involving 249 senior high school students selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a validated researcher-developed questionnaire measuring digital engagement, awareness of online risks, exposure to cyber threats, and perceived effectiveness of school-based digital safety measures.
