Abstract :
Objectives:
This study determined the determinants of Hepatitis B vaccination uptake and Hepatitis B and C preventive practices
among healthcare workers in tertiary health institutions in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria.
Methods:
A descriptive cross-sectional study design, mixed methods was adopted. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to
recruit 385 healthcare workers from selected tertiary health institutions in the FCT. Data were collected using a pre-tested,
self-administered, structured questionnaire. Data were analysed using IBM SPSS version 25.0. Frequencies and proportions
were computed for categorical variables.
