Abstract :
The research dealing with the development of
the demographic situation in Macedonia between the 18-
19 centuries will be examined in general terms. In this
study, the Islamization of the Ottoman Empire starting
from the classical periods and its effects on the cities will
be analyzed by analyzing and the Islamization process of
the local people is mentioned. The other aim of our
research is to review the social and economic changes and
dynamics in the new and existing Macedonian cities and
their effects will be mentioned. As a result of this change,
our research will examine the change in people's living
standards, and urbanization and historical development
will be examined by mentioning the marketplaces, which
are the ancestors of the consumption logic and the
shopping center concept.
