Abstract : "Across the globe, tuberculosis (TB) is still a severe public health challenge. This is especially true in developing nations that are experiencing an upward trend in both the number of infections and resistance to treatments.". The present study aimed to evaluate drug utilization patterns among tuberculosis patients attending the District TB Center, Mehsana. A retrospective observational analysis was conducted to assess prescribing trends, rationality of therapy, adherence to national treatment guidelines, and the prevalence of drug-resistant cases. Data were collected from patient treatment records, including demographic characteristics, diagnostic methods, type of TB (pulmonary or extrapulmonary), and prescribed anti-tubercular regimens.
