Abstract :
The study examined the effect of Digital Project Management (DPM) Practices on Project Delivery Success, focusing on the Rusumo Cross-Border Market Project in Kirehe District under the Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA). The study was guided by four objectives: to evaluate the effect of digital planning and scheduling practices on project delivery success; to examine how digital collaboration and communication platforms influence stakeholder coordination and delivery outcomes; to assess the effect of digital risk management practices on project success; and to analyze how digital monitoring and control dashboards affect timeliness, cost management, and overall project delivery success. The study was anchored on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Resource-Based View (RBV), and Stakeholder Theory, which collectively explain technology adoption, organizational capability utilization, and stakeholder engagement in project environments. A mixed methods approach employing descriptive and correlational research designs was adopted. The target population comprised 251 project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, technicians, supervisors, and traders’ representatives. Using the Taro Yamane formula, a sample size of 154 respondents was determined and selected through stratified and purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentary review. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically.
