Abstract : This study examined the effect of employee motivation on organizational performance in selected commercial banks in Mogadishu, Somalia. Specifically, the study investigated the influence of incentives, job security, and training and development on organizational performance. The study was guided by Equity Theory and Hackman and Oldham's Job Characteristics Theory and employed a quantitative correlational research design. Data were collected using structured questionnaires from 110 respondents drawn from selected commercial banks, including Salaam Somalia Bank, Dahabshiil Bank, Amal Bank, and My Bank. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), applying both descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation analysis)
