Abstract :
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming education by providing innovative solutions such as
personalized learning, automated assessments, and intelligent tutoring systems. However, its integration raises critical
ethical issues that need to be addressed to ensure responsible use. This paper explores the ethical concerns of AI in
education, focusing on fairness, privacy, accountability, transparency, and the role of teachers. Drawing from the
UNESCO report on AI in education, the paper examines how these issues affect equity, data security, and student
autonomy. It also discusses the ethical design of AI systems and the long-term implications of their adoption in educational
contexts. The findings underscore the need for AI systems to be designed and implemented with ethical guidelines that
prioritize inclusivity, fairness, and human-centered values.
