Abstract :
Parenting styles significantly influence child development outcomes globally. This review comprehensively
examines authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and uninvolved parenting styles, analyzing their effects on cognitive,
emotional, social, and physical child development. Drawing upon the latest international research, this article offers
evidence-based guidance for parents and practitioners aiming to foster optimal developmental outcomes. It also addresses
cultural nuances, emphasizing a global understanding of parenting practices and their developmental consequences.
