Abstract :
Covid-19 has resulted in disruption to many
lives. Here we provide a brief report on 80 respondents’
perception and emotional well-being due to covid-19. In
late June 2021, Participants responded to the uncertainty
regarding mental health as well as a significant level of
stress and difficulty coping with covid-19 disruption.
These outcomes were related to the higher level of
emotional reactions and external locus of control. Male
participants reported worst emotional and stressed well-
being than compared female participants. This result
suggests that some participants may be at particular risk
for stress and poor emotional well being due to pandemic
and highlight the urgent need for intervention and
prevention strategies.
