Abstract : Tourism has emerged as one of the most significant contributors to economic growth, employment generation, and socio-cultural development across the globe. The increasing role of tourism in national economies, particularly in developing countries such as India, highlights the importance of adopting efficient and technologically advanced systems to enhance tourism services. Studies indicate that tourism contributes substantially to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment while supporting multiple allied industries including hospitality, transportation, and infrastructure development [2]. With the rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the tourism sector has undergone a major transformation. Digital platforms have become essential tools that enable users to access information, plan travel, and make decisions efficiently [3]. The integration of digital technologies in tourism has resulted in the development of smart tourism systems, which focus on providing personalized, interactive, and real-time services to users [4]. These systems enhance user experience by offering structured information, improved accessibility, and dynamic content. However, despite these advancements, many traditional tourism platforms still suffer from limitations such as lack of structured data, poor user interaction, and absence of intelligent recommendation systems. To address these challenges, this research presents the development of India Explorer, a web-based tourism recommendation and analytics platform. The system provides structured, state-wise tourism information along with features such as filtering, dynamic recommendations, and user interaction tracking. The platform leverages modern web technologies to deliver a responsive and user-friendly experience. The results demonstrate that the integration of digital technologies and structured data significantly improves usability, accessibility, and user engagement, providing faster navigation, efficient information retrieval, and enhanced decision-making capabilities.
