This study assessed knowledge of formative
assessment practices of teachers in public senior
secondary schools in Edo Central Senatorial District,
Nigeria.Findings revealed that knowledge of
formative assessment practices among public junior
secondary school teachers in Edo Central Senatorial
District, Nigeria is poor and female teachers had higher
level of formative assessment practice than male teachers
in secondary schools in the district.
