Abstract :
Agriculture is one of the most important sectors, which supports the economy and the livelihood of a large population. However, there are various challenges that farmers have to deal with such as choosing the right crop to grow, plant disease, varying weather conditions and agricultural equipment affordability. Small-scale farmers might have little or no capacity to buy expensive farm equipment due to its high purchasing costs and subsequent maintenance costs. The problem to be solved by the proposed paper is to develop KRISHI AI (Agri Tech system) that offers smart equipment rental through an AI and IoT enabled platform. The proposed solution will integrate artificial intelligence, machine learning, web technologies, and Internet of Things to offer a smart farming solution. The system will offer crop recommendation based on agricultural parameters, plant disease identification from images, agricultural weather-related information and rental service for farm equipment. The IoT component will be used to track equipment-related information and help manage the equipment. The web portal will offer a farmer-friendly interface where farmers can get the required services. The proposed solution will solve the problem of agricultural equipment by reducing the cost of ownership, enhance decision-making, ensure timely agricultural activities and promote the use of technology in farming.
