Although the Web community should not yet be fully accepting of the emerging technology, acceptance should be growing over time. Its level of acceptance may be modest, but if it stays that way continuously and doesn't increase, it won't be deemed to be emerging. Its level of acceptance can also be high, but if it is extremely high, it would be seen as a pre-existing innovation and would no longer be developing, even if its fame is constantly growing. Therefore, it is wise to keep updating the list of developments that could potentially emerge. The level of acceptance of emerging web innovations in academic settings is rising.
