Abstract :
The golden rule for health care professionals today should be to have proper understanding of medical ethics, consumer protection act. Dental practitioners and surgeons are a liability as they can encounter medico legal cases anytime. Due to lack of knowledge among the health care professionals on medico-legal aspects, the efficient implementations and delivery of health care services gets haltered.
Purpose The purpose of this review is to highlight the details of medico-legal cases, consumer protection act and awareness of ethical dilemmas and its implementation among the dental professionals.
