Web based e-Education systems are an important type of information systems that have benefited from Web standards for implementation, deployment and integration. One of the challenges of these information systems is to personalize and adapt learning process according to the learners. To reach this goal we have to capture and model information about the learner, his pedagogical preferences and his learning activity. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based learner model, based on Semantic Web standards. We add this model to our models of pedagogical resources and, knowledge and skills model and we integrated it in an industrial context. We show how this global model meets industrial requirements in terms of functionalities, opening up new possibilities for learning analytics and adaptive learning.
