In this paper we are going to present the
recent trends of model predictive control (MPC) and its
techniques are used in modern world. MPC forecasts
plant output behavior using a plant model. The MPC
controller solves the optimization problem across the
prediction horizon while adhering to the constraints at
the current phase. This can be used in non-linear
problems and it is more precise when compare to the
linear controller such as PID.
