Abstract :
The goal of this research is to see if the way EPC
contracts function is beneficial to the architectural
profession, and if so, how it may be improved. According to
our research based on a qualitative approach that includes
case studies from the public sector and further interviews
with experts in the area, the architect's position in an EPC
contract is not critical and is in line with other project
stakeholders. EPC contractors also have the capacity to
control the project's workflow, therefore architects may be
forced to make compromises in terms of design,
remuneration, and so on.
Keywords :
EPC Contract, Project management consultant, Architect, Contractor.
