Abstract :
The study aimed to examine the role of
different motivation practices on employee performance
and productivity. A qualitative approach was used with
the interview data collection method. Open-ended
interview questions were used as a data collection
instrument and thematic analysis was used to report
results. The key findings stated that work-from-home
(WFH), training and development (T&D), performancebased rewards, and knowledge sharing are key
motivational practices to enhance employee performance
and productivity. Additionally, for gaining benefits from
WFH, it is pivotal for companies to provide proper
support to employees. T&D can deliver benefits of
improved performance and productivity for employees
when sessions are career oriented or aligned with
employee career development.
