Money is traded as securities in the financial market, which could be obtained through various instruments, while following various rules and regulations. Those are implemented by government agencies and other organization of the world. Financial markets are mainly of two type’s money market and capital market. Without any doubt there is quite an impact of financial market in the Indian economy. Economic growth is measured by GDP of the country. Hence in this study we will try to describe the role of financial market in economic growth of India by studying relation between financial markets and GDP.
