An Empirical Study on Perceptions towards Tax Planning among Youth

Abstract : One of the best way to reduce the tax liability\\nis, taking a timely decision. For this it is necessary that\\nappropriate measure are taken in this regards in terms\\nof saving and investment. Generally it’s observed that\\ntax payers make planning at the end of the financial year\\nto reduce their tax liability, this may be due to lack of\\nawareness or complexities of the tax laws. Considering\\nabove background, the present study is watchfully\\ncarried out to appraise the tax planning perception\\namong youth, as the future of any country depends on\\ntheir young and vibrant population. And also they are\\nprospective tax payers of future, once they enter the real\\nworld after their completion of education. The primary\\ndata have been collected through a well-structured\\nquestionnaire, comprising optional type and Likert’s 5\\npoint scale type questions, and in total 210 sample were\\ncollected from the participants. Major significance was\\nreported from the study based on Gender and education\\nand Budgeting and keeping financial records are\\nessential for Tax Planning and Regular updating of\\nknowledge perception.
