The story of “Samudra Manthan”, as is\\ndetailed in “Bhagavad Purana”, “Vishnu Purana” and\\nthe “Mahabharata” in Indian mythology required the\\ndevas (the divine ones) and the asuras (the bad ones) to\\ncome together to churn the ocean to retrieve the nectar\\nof energy. The continuous churning with the help of the\\n“mountain Mandara” as the churning rod alongwith\\n“Vasuki-the king of snakes” resulted in the creation of\\nterrible poison followed numerous valuables from the\\n“Samudra Manthan”.
