Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the effect of
employee engagement and work environment on teacher
performance mediated by work discipline at MI in
Ciledug District, Tangerang City. All MI teachers in
Ciledug District, Tangerang City, totaling 193 people
from six different schools as the population. The sampling
technique was proportional stratified random sampling,
it was found that 130 people were selected as samples
through the Slovin formula. Data was taken by
questionnaire and then analyzed using Structural
Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEMPLS). The
final results shown from the research are (1) Employee
engagement has a significant indirect effect on teacher
performance, (2) Work environment has a significant
indirect effect on teacher performance, (3) Employee
engagement and work environment have a significant
positive effect on work discipline, (4) Employee
attachment and work discipline have a significant positive
effect on teacher performance, but the work environment
has no significant effect on teacher performance.
