Abstract :
Infectious diseases remain a major challenge to
global health systems, with significant implications for
public health, economies, and societal well-being. This
research paper systematically examines the impact of
emerging infectious diseases (EIDs), antimicrobial
resistance (AMR), healthcare access disparities, and the
role of vaccination in global health. Using a review of
existing literature and case studies, the paper analyzes the
strategies employed to prevent and manage infectious
diseases. It concludes with a call for enhanced global
cooperation, equitable healthcare access, and investment
in research and development to strengthen health systems
globally and reduce the burden of infectious diseases.
