Abstract :
User perceptions of privacy and security on
online social networks is a complex issue that
encompasses various factors such as awareness of
privacy settings, trust in the platform, use of third-party
apps and services, attitudes towards data collection and
usage, response to privacy breaches, perception of
misinformation, and usage of privacy-enhancing tools.
This can greatly influence the way they interact with the
platform. Users' reaction to privacy breaches, perception
of misinformation, and usage of privacy-enhancing tools
can also greatly impact their trust and behavior on the
platform. Platforms that provide transparent policies,
robust security measures, easy-to-use interfaces, and a
responsive approach to user concerns can help to build
trust and engage users.
