Abstract :
In children mandibular fracture are less frequent when compared to adults, which may be due to
child’s protected anatomic features. Though the general principle of treating mandibular fracture in
children and adult are same the techniques in children are mandatorily modified by certain anatomical,
physiological and psychological factors. This case report documents conservative treatment of
mandibular parasymphysis and body fracture close to the angle of mandible using a vacuum formed
closed cap splint in a five year old patient.
