Abstract : This study discuss on the design, construction and management of a re-circulatory aquaponics system. The system is made up of four culture tanks of 2ft by 1ft by 1ft (Lx b x h) dimension each. These tanks are supported on a platform with an outlet leading to growing pipes of 3’’size where water flows through. These pipes are in three numbers for each treatment and are suspended on a platform and carries water out to the sedimentation tank of same size 2ft by 1ft by 1ft (Lx b x h) through a flow through pipes of ¼ size. The growing pipes consist of eleven holes that support the planting of crops. The sedimentation tank consist of the sharp sand that filters the dirt and allow for easy cleaning of the pond water, on the sand is laid the granites and oyster shells that also assist in the purification of the water. The activated charcoal is arranged in a small porcelain sack to allow for cleansing of the purified water which is pumped back into the rearing tank.
